L-citrulline can also increase the production of nitric oxide which is an important compound in erectile function and can increase sexual activity in men.

The red colouring in watermelon comes from the lycopene content which can improve sperm concentration and motility.
Watermelon also contains zinc, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and folic acid both important nutrients in the fertility health of men and women.
